Task lighting

A good reading chair calls for a good reading light. I've got the chair, and now I'm on the hunt for the light. My ideal lamp is focused, small, and adjustable. Since it's going in the nursery, it also shouldn't be too precious -- no fine ceramic or paper shades.

I've rounded up a few options at different price points. (Click on the images to go to the shop pages.) There are lots of beautiful options for $250+, particularly from Schoolhouse Electric; I wish I could move into their showroom. However, I'm not sure I can justify the cost when there are also many vintage lamps available for <$100.

High ($250+)

Mid ($100-200)

Low (<$100)

As a bonus, I also stumbled across these two sweet little lamps. They wouldn't make good reading lights because the light is too diffused, but a girl can dream...
