A cottage to call home

We are the proud new owners of an old home: a little blue 1926 bungalow in Mountain View, California.

It's both a home and a project. The paint is peeling, the windows don't stay up, and the backyard is mostly concrete. But it has a good soul, and lots of stories to tell from its 90-year history. If you look past the deferred maintenance, you find old growth redwood siding, light-filled rooms, and charming built-ins.
